We hope that your child will be very happy during their time at Milford and that they make good progress and achieve well academically, socially, emotionally and develop confidence and life skills to equip them well for their future.

We know as parents you expect your child to be safe, happy and learning well and we will do all that we can to ensure this. From time to time things can and do go wrong. It is important that we are all vigilant and address any concerns early.

Please feel free to contact the class teacher in the first instance as I am sure they will be able to help. I will obviously deal personally with any serious issues or issues of an on-going nature – we are here to help your child and all children in school.

We value your comments and feedback and ask for a questionnaire to be completed each year to help us improve further. If you have any comments to share with us positive or otherwise we would welcome them – don’t wait until a questionnaire if you have an issue!

Ofsted also offer parents the opportunity to complete an online questionnaire on the ‘Parent View’ website, and I would encourage you to do so. This does not take long and is based on the criteria Ofsted use for judging schools. The results are available for Ofsted and the public to see - they are anonymous, so your response cannot be traced. Please be honest – but be fair!

Thank you

Paula Fox
